[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This range came in our house which is new construction. I like the 6 burner range all of the burners are fairly large and powerful. I really like there is black metal under the burners so you dont have dirty looking stainless steel under there after some use. The thing I do not like is the front "shelf" area between the burners and knobs is a non-coated stainless steel and scratches VERY EASILY. I have been very careful cooking on this range and I already have a couple scuffs and scratches. If you are the type of person that will be upset by this (I am) then I would not buy this range, it will give a lot of anxiety to cook on it. This top piece should have been designed with a scratch resistant coating at the very least.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks good, but hard to clean and get serviced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this gas cooktop when building my house. The design is great with plenty of room for cooking. It heats quickly (which is why I like to cook with gas). Due to the design, cleaning is extremely difficult. Be prepared to put LOTS of elbow grease into the cleaning if you want it to shine and not look smeared. Anything that boils over sticks immediately around the burners and will not clean without scratching the top. Since it's black, it shows all burnt spills and scratches. The stainless steel front scratches up easily as well (just placing a cooking utensil on it will scratch it). One of the burners' ignitor will constantly click when any of the other burners are on Lo. Service tech cannot determine the problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the full Kitchen line. Not sure about the range. I find the gas setting hard to control. You definitely have to have good set of cookware otherwise it will overheat everything even on low heat. Still getting used to eat.
