Great when they reseal... but sometimes they don't

I LOVE using these bags to store cooked chicken for the week. I will grill or roast extra chicken to use later in the week. It will stay fresh for over a week. However, sometimes the bags won't reseal and hold the vacuum. It seems random so I'm not sure why it happens. The bags are super heavy and hold up well, unlike regular ziploc bags. I wish they were more consisitent in the ability to reseal.

Truly a food saver!

These bags are great for keeping food fresh. Since there are only two of us in this household and we have to go 15 to 20 miles to shop in a large grocery chain, we buy meat and cheese items in quantity. I then divide things up in smaller amounts and freeze them. But with the sealer bags I can freeze small amounts, thaw and reseal to put in the refrigerator. Also find it handy for leftovers. I love them!

For storage of everyday foods

My favorite are the quart bags because I can store leftovers and food that we use everyday. Keeps them fresh longer and keeps them from spoiling or stinking up my fridge. For example if I cut up an onion and only use half I usually stop the remainder in the quart ziplock so I can use another day with ease.

This product dose what the name says Foodsaver. I use the bag everyday keeps my cheese from getting moldy , stays fresh for weeks.
I use it to freeze fruit for smoothies, open up bag take out what you need for your smoothie and reseal. Very easy to use.
