Zipper FoodSaver!

Love these bags for everyday usage. I like using bricks of cheese and usually the 2 pound varieites. This zipper Vac Seal bag has already saved me oodles of money in cheese not spoiling before I get to use it up. I've been using for other items as well, meats etc and some left over treats. I've been telling everyone I can about this had held Food Saver and love that you've now incorportated this type of sealing in your new Food Saver model. (That'll be on my list when the one I have decides its done enough work for me.)
I've even gotten a few aunts to use these and they are seeing the great rewards too! Even with lettuce, spinach etc too! Thank you so much for making all these fantastic products!

I purchased these with travel in mind. Love them at home to preserve freshness with cheese and lunch meat. I also juice and find them great to store half of a beet or avocado. They are great to store salad produce that are already washed and cut up...celery doesn't turn brown on the ends either. This size offers great storage for produce as I prepare on the weekend for the weekly lunches and snacks. Love these additions to the Food Saver product line.

This bag is no good

I bought two boxes, planning on pre-packaging all the food for a big camp out. The bags leak and do not hold the vacuum. The chicken leaked juice all over, and well that is why I bought another box thinking I had a bad batch. The only way to improve it is to make sure the sides are sealed great. I was extremely disappointed with this bag.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Doesn't hold its seal

I thought these bags would be a wonderful improvement, allowing us to open, then reseal to keep food fresh. I used it for dog food kibble. It vacuumed just great, then allowed air back into the bag. It happened on almost every bag I used. These were really a waste of money, and I HAD given the bags a great rating! I've really changed my mind about them. Awful!

No freezer burn

This system is the best system I've used in 30 yrs. I never have freezer burn or Ice crystals on anything. It is so easy to use.

Much easier than the heat seal bags.

First, I thought i was buying freezer bags, but the came as refrigerator bags. Seem to work OK in the freezer.
Easier than the heat seal although have had problems getting a vacuum. One of the flaps has come off so that bag is trash.
Overall better than the old heat seal way.

If you could shorten 1 side of the bag about 1/16" it would be easier
