zip locks are a little difficult to seal but they seal well. use is primarily for fish fillets so i add a strip of paper towel between "valve" and fillets to absorb moisture. much more compact in the freezer compared with freezing fish in water (my old method)

i had my first one a few year ago and wore it out. i just had to buy another one because i use it a lot. for my freezer bags,to keep my bread & rolls fresh. this sealer does save me money. my meats don't get freezer burn and my bread & rolls stayfresher a lot longer.

Very convenient for sealing items for relatively short term storage. We use our FoodSaver V1205 for items that will be frozen for longer duration. Note: if you purchase this handheld model there is a stand for it for just $3.00 that you can include in your order as a separate item.

I bought one of these, I also have a big foodsaver, but bought the handheld for quick sealing for family to use. I love it so much I bought 2 more one for our cabin and one for our camper, I don't go anywhere without foodsaver bags and containers.

I really like being able to escalate my cheese in the same bag. It sure is a lot easier than dragging out my big sealer each time I want some cheese. Wish I would of had this long time ago. I still use my big one for whatever I am freezing. I am buying two more to give away. Thanks inventer, I love you.

My daughter had ordered the bags for this but did not have the little machine to use them with. She asked me if I had one as she gave me all 6 packages of the bags. I told her that I did not have it, but I would order one. I love it! It is so easy to use. You just put your food in the ziplock bags and then put the handheld vacuum sealer over the circle and waalaa! Done! All the air is sucked out and freshness is preserved!
