I'm always looking for clearance foods at my local store. Previously my only choices were to wrap the items in cling wrap and put in a freezer bag and pray I didn't get freezer burn or just not buy it at all. With my hand held vacuum sealer, I can buy shredded cheese and meat that's on clearance and safely take it home a freeze it for later. I also use this on fresh herbs and it works great to keep them fresher longer in the fridge. If you have a small household like me, this is a must have for saving money!

I have had one of these machines for over 7 years and it has extended the useful life of untold number of products from cheese to biscuits. I only purchased a new one because the old one was losing its power and I don't want to be without the convenience offered by this product.

This handheld is so handy! We make our own dog treats and by having the treats in a vacuum bag and this right next to it, it makes the treats last longer. The portability of it is fabulous. I think it is actually easier to use that the one on the food saver.
We liked it so much, we bought another one.

It did not perform as expected. The suction isn’t strong enough so it was difficult, if not impossible to seal the container. It wasn’t worth the time to pack it up and shop back.
