I have a full size fresh saver and love it. Not having a lot of counter space in the kitchen, I keep it in the pantry, so it's not handy all the time.
The handheld is small enough to keep out, so it is right there if I need to only seal one or two bags.
I would have liked it to have a little more power, but it gets the job done.

Seal nicely, BUT...

I would like a hand sealer for these containers. For lack of counter space I do not keep my FoodSaver device on my counter. So every time I take a cherry or strawberry from one of these containers I have to set up the FoodSaver to seal it again. It just doesn’t get done. Will there be a handheld vacuum sealer in my future?

Fantastic! This hand held sealer will work with any FoodSaver® Vacuum Zipper Bag, and FoodSaver® Deli, Snack & Sandwich, and Lunch & Leftover containers. The small compact hand sealer can easily be stored in a drawer. To use FoodSaver Fresh Containers and FoodSaver brand zipper bags, you may want to consider the FoodSaver® FM1510 Fresh Food Preservation System. This is such a great addition to my Food Saver family. Not only can I now seal smaller and more often items but it is so easy to use. Left overs and opened cheese which gets used quickly are just right for this. Love not wasting foods
