This has come in quite handy. I use it for my bagels when I freeze them for the week. I know the bags aren't for freezing but they aren't used for long term freeze and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I also used it for my sons lunchmeat as he was going camping and thought he might have bought to much lunchmeat. I sealed his extra for him

This was my 3rd purchase. Eventually, when using it the power started to fade even though it was fully charged. My kitchen will always have the larger foodsaver and this handheld. I use them both daily. My original one came with a charger base which it sits on keeping it charged. The latest one came with a simple plug. I was glad I kept the charger base.
