I purchased the countertop foodsaver model that you have to use the tube and adapter in order to use the zipper bags and containers, so when I saw this I decided to give it a try. I love my original countertop foodsaver unit, but I use the zipper bags more often because they are reusable so great for snacks or leftovers that will be eaten soon. I have had this handheld model for over 3 years now and it still works great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Handy Little Gadget

I love this hand-held vacuum food sealer. Especially when I only need to seal something small, like cheese. It's surprisingly powerful for it's size, and the fact that I can use those convenient little re-usable zip bags is great. I liked mine so much that I purchased another for my son and his wife, and they love theirs too to go alongside their big vacuum sealer. .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very convenient to use and conveniently priced. Have used a number of times since I purchased it but not long enough to verify the long term freshness aspect. I've got some blanched, salted peanuts that were purchased on sale and put in gallon FreshSaver bags with a small packet of desiccating gel. It will be interesting to see what happens over time.

A "Must Have"

I purchased this item in conjunction with my countertop model. I take this with us whenever I travel using the resealabe bags. I also use it daily with the jar sealers, it works EXTREMELY well in this application. It is also great to keep items sealed other than food, e.g. phones and mp3 players while poolside or boating.

I purchased this several months ago and use it all the time. It seals up your dried beans and pasta wonderfully with the jar sealer. It's a real money saver epecially if you buy in bulk as I do.
