Awesome time saver / food saver!

I have had a full size food saver for several years, and love using it when I buy meat in bulk when it's on sale. I break out the food saver, and get the job done. But with the small, hand held unit, I can keep cheese and everyday items that I would normally put into a zipper bag much fresher by removing all the air.
The bags work well and the vacuum pump work well so far. I am happy with my purchase!

Handy gadget

This is a second unit I purchased, to take with me when traveling (no base, easier to deal with on the road). I got a third as a gift for a friend.
The bags are expensive, get them when they are on sale.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The FoodSaver handheld device is GREAT for vacuuming cheese, avocado, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, etc. Now that we are cooking for two since our children are grown and gone, the FoodSaver handheld vacuum saves us LOTS of money by extending freshness of a variety of produce, meat and dairy products! We have enjoyed it so much for the past two years that we bought several to give to our family and friends for Christmas this year!
