Eliminates the need to pull out the big machine for those that store the Food Saver away. The Fresh Saver is handy

Hand Held sealer

I liked the idea of this hand held. Unfortunately for me it does not seem to be the product I was hoping for. It has to be plugged in in advance of using it or it does not function. It seems to run out of power only after 3 or 4 bags.
I ended up purchasing the automatic sealer.

Yes, the FSFRSH0051-P00 handheld vac sealer is designed to handle a few bags at a time, and then it will need to recharge. Very disappointing

I had great hopes for this little appliance, but not for long.
I cannot get all of the air out of the bag, which makes it only minimally functional.
A zipper bag would have been as efficacious.
Disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
