Battery too good???

I've had the red handheld over a year. Use it about 1 - 2 times/week. It was beginning to lose power. So, I thought, time to pop in some new batteries. What? It's rechargeable? Where's the cord? Somewhere during early ownership, I must have said to myself, this is too much clutter on the counter, and put the cord away. The battery was a little too good, because it took too long (is that possible?) to need a recharge for me to remember what that cord was for. Yeah, I know it's my fault. But apparently, during one of our, 'what's this recharger for?', it was tossed. I'm guessing there was no 'freshsaver' text or logo on the charger. Anyway, can I get a replacement charger?

I received this as a gift and absolutely love it! I've just purchased many of the FoodSaver containers and am already finding this so useful. And I can bring it in our trailer on vacation instead of carrying the big FoodSaver!

Great for packaging refrigerator items!

This hand-held unit is super to store meats, cheeses, and even some vegetables, in the refrigerator. Zip the bag, then vacuum to extend freshness.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Never held charge. Cratered after about 10 uses. Bags are expensive so there is actually no savings benefit to freezing food.

I have gone through 3 in two years. Battery is always dead when you need to use it. Apparently it must be on charge 24/7. Not about to keep on charge and waste electricity.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Vacuum is convenient but slow. The bags are a joke. Do not hold the seal. Waste of money. Did all the proper things.
