[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Someone should know that you do not need a hose accessory to utilize the jar sealing attachment. All you need to do is press the rubbery end of this hand held vacuum sealer tightly over the hole in the top of the jar sealing attachment and your mason jar will be completely vacuum sealed quickly and easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I had a hard time and never did get all the air out of the bag. If it was easier to use, I may like it, but it takes to much to use it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best product I have ever bought

I bought the handheld sealer about 4 months ago. I use it after every grocery shopping trip. It is very useful to put food in the freezer. I like that I can take out a small amount of food and reseal to put back in freezer. Example: taking 2 hot dogs out and resealing the 4 left to put back in freezer. I would certainly recommend this product. It has made my life easier. And I know my food is safer from freezer burn.

I bought two more. One as a gift and one for if the one I just bought stops working. It's fantastic for refrigerator stuff like lettuce, celery, when I buy more fruit like cherries and grapes than I could possibly eat, lunch meat, cheese, left overs etc.

We use it with the zip bags and jar sealers. We put some romaine lettuce in a quart jar on Oct. 2 and sealed it with the jar sealer. At the end of the month the romaine was as fresh as when we put it in. This works well for crackers and snacks, too. The bags have been working great for cheese and frozen items, too. They are sturdy enough to be washed and reused often. We're really enjoying this little gadget and feel it's earning its keep in reducing spoilage and waste.

I read the other reviews of this and I have both sets of bags..big and little ones. As long as you make sure the zipper on the top is completely closed they work.. and no air. The charging issue.. is I sooo agree but the problem here again is they use a ni-cad battery and not a lithium battery. I would be willing to pay the little extra for the battery upgrade myself.
My husband and I both use this almost every day. When their is lunch meat or cheeses, lettuce you want to stay fresh when you take it to work it's awesome. We have it in a drawer right next to the counter.. and he has no problem getting it out and re-vaccing the bag when he put's it back in the fridge. It's so easy to use and just takes a couple extra minutes of your time. Having to always charge it gets to be annoying sometimes, but again..it's because of the ni-cad battery.
