My previous handheld sealer stopped working and I was looking for a replacement. Works great on the newer containers but not on my older round canisters. So it looks like I'm going to have to purchase new containers or use my full-size sealer with the plastic tube attachment to seal my old containers. Very inconvenient.

Machine works, bags do not!

The machine itself works fine. BUT the ziplock bags fill right back up with air immediately. Big disappointment!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

i just bought this new one because i wore the first one out. i LOVE it. i do have a countertop vacuum sealer, but the handheld is so much easier to use.

I absolutely love this product. I use it all the time. I buy steaks and seal them in the quart bags. The bags usually don’t do well in the freezer, and the vacuum sealer valve pieces comes off. I solve this by putting a small piece of clear packing tape over the air valve. I wish they would make the bags work in the freezer. For storing things you use a lot, it works great! It’s much more convenient than the big sealer that uses the sealer bags that come in rolls. I have friends that go camping a lot and they love the convenience of the small hand held sealer that takes up much less room.
