I've bought this for my self, when turned around and bought 4 more for friends. They are so easy to use. I also have the 2 in 1 counter machine, that I also use.They both are great. My husband, has started to use them.

I bought this so I didn't have to break out my big Foodsaver unit just to use the accessory vacuum port for the containers and reusable bags that I frequently use.
So far I've only charged it the initial time, and the battery is still going strong after quite a few 10-second "bursts" over the 3 weeks I've owned it.

Love the fact that I don't have to bring out my big vacuum sealer for small jobs. Love it because I can keep it on my counters for quick seals, also the handheld vacuum seals well as my big sealer. Would buy it again if something went wrong with this one I have..

Hand held vac wont stay charged.

Had this for 2 to 3 weeks, worked great at first and now doesnt seem to take a charge/ suck air out, it dies quickly. Will have to toss it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought for it's convenience, not having my foodsaver out on counter all the time. It gets constant use for fridge and freezer. Just make sure the bag is sealed perfectly. I use a soup spoon on the seal after using my fingers, gets a better seal. I would have given it 5 stars but battery only lasts about 2 - 2 1/2 years.
