This product keeps everything fresh, works!!

I bought this product because I wanted something to keep my avacados from going bad. It works very well. Both a whole avacado or one that has been sliced. extends life and color for at least 4 days. I have experimented with fruit and other veggies. I leave it plugged in on my counter top and I now bag lots while cleaning up the kitchen. Save time, money and extends the life of your food!!

Simple and Convienent

I keep this with all my other storage containers and is small and compact. It is also very to carry with you on trips. It is great with the zip bags except you need to make sure the bag is completely closed and sealed. It will seal the bag but will slowly lose the vacuum if not completely sealed. That is the only problem I have had so far but then it is not the unit that is at fault it is mine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I keep the handheld foodsaver on my counter and use it several times a day. It is fast and easy to use. I can open the vacuum sealed bags or foodsaver containers, use some of whatever I have sealed and then reseal what is left in just seconds. I use it to keep coffee beans, salad ingredients, cheese, even cookies much fresher than in an ordinary plastic bag or container. I would highly recommend it.

Hand Held Freshness

I've been using Food Saver Vacuums for over a decade, I think they're Awesome!. This unit is just as good as his big brother, great product! Keeps refrigerated foods fresher longer. My only gripe about this, is the charging. It doesn't have an auto-shut off feature, the red light always stays on.

I was originally going to get a counter top sealer, but happened to find the handheld model instead at the store. Got it because it was less expensive. I am so glad I did ! It is more convenient because it doesn't need to be plugged in and I find that the re-sealable bags are more environmentally friendly. I have vacuum sealed everything in my freezer and frig. I also think it would be great for traveling because it is so lightweight, portable and has a charger. Also the company frequently has deals on bags so it has more than paid for itself. Highly recommend this and have to all of my friends.

I like the portability of this handheld. The price was certainly "right" however it takes some maneuverabilty to get the suction working on the bag. Once the "connection" is made, it works. Would I purchase itagain? Yes. It serves its purpose. Not as user-friendly as the big sealers tho.

Love this little vacuum! I use it for EVERYTHING. It is much easier to grab and use than the bigger unit. Salmon Patties kept for a week in the fridge - everything keeps longer. More cost effective for the refrigerator because the bags can be reopened and sealed.
