A great and user friendly B&W laser printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a simple Black & White laser printer. I found the HL-L2300D exactly what I was looking for. It has served my needs for the last about 3 years and worked without any fault. It's cartridges are not too costly and last as long as given. I would advise anyone looking for a practical laser printer to go for the Brother HL-L2300D.

Great printer

The toner cartridges last a very long time and prints more pages than what is stated. I wish I purchased this printer ages ago. You will not be disappointed with this one.

My First Brother

I bought this printer for someone else, based on price. Then I wound up owning and using the printer. I liked everything about the printer. Before Covid I found that BROTHER had excellent support (not so much during Covid). This was the first of the three Brother printers that I now own.

Does not work with Windows 11

This was a good little work horse until I installed Windows 11. Now it does not work at all. I am astonished Brothers is even selling it given that startling deficit. Hard to choose stars, because there is a before (5 stars) and current (zero stars). Read all the documentation before you buy.

The initial printer was shipped promptly but did not work. Customer service was very helpful and sent me a replacement. The replacement printer shipped within the acceptable time frame and works.

HL-L2300D printer. LOVE IT

Had a paper feeder jam after the connection to my computer was accidentally interrupted went on YouTube couldn't find anything searched the internet found the brother website which redirected me back to a Brother support YouTube video.
It explained process of clearing the jam easily and completely. Love my HL-L2300D.

Workhorse

This printer is a replacement to an older model that I gave to a family member - which is still in operation and meeting their needs. This newer model is a workhorse, just like it's ancestor. Most pleased with it
