Bought he printer for home office use and really love it. It prints pages quickly and crisply, has a compact size and has a lot of easy to use features. The quality for the price is excellent. Just connected it to the computer and moments later it was up and running.

RELIABLE!

This is my second Brother printer of the same make/model. I gave the first to my nephew when I moved because it was a super workhorse, easy to set up, easy to use, easy to maintain. I bought the second as soon as I was in my new house and it's proven just as reliable as the first. When I go for color, I'll be looking for a Brother.

This printer is just what i was looking for. It does indeed print on both sides of the paper saving money on paper by doing so. The toner cartridges are very inexpensive compared to asny other type of printer as well.

Working great so far. A new HP color laser wouldn't accept cardstock nor older software so unhappy with it and wanted an older model that would accept the option of W-10 or XP & W-7 too. This little monocolor printer solved and checked all the boxes. Takes cardstock up to 100 maybe 110 for some brands. Couldn't be more satisified. Small foot print is also a huge PLUS if not down right bonus.

What happened to the Brother quality?

Very disappointed with the print quality of this brand new printer (HL-L2300D). It has a new Brother toner cartridge and drum. I've gone through all the maintenance items suggested by Brother to no effect. It started out with excellent quality but after only a few weeks of moderate use, the quality has diminished.
