Excellent printer

I enjoy the ease of use, dependability, and economy of this laser printer. Although monochrome, I find the laser technology more cost efficient than the cartridge technology of other printers where it is necessary to frequently replace the cartridges quite frequently at considerable cost and inconvenience. For a small business, a laser printer is essential and this printer stands out as a winner for me.

The printer does a very good job. The printing quality is excellent. The operation is very simple. I installed it on a Linux Mint system and the drivers were included in the kernel and were installed automatically.

Easy, Simple setup. No unnecessary software. No overt ploys for your money with subscriptions. no egregious requirements to make an online account just to use your printer. I will only be buying brother printers from now on in all offices that i manage IT.

I have the last model of this printer which is a HL2170W. I love this printer. Its print quality is so clear and vivid. I want to stay with this model and from what I understand, this is the newer model of the HL2170W. I’ve had my 2170W for many years, probably close to 10 years and it has been a wonderful orinter. Its fast and print is sharp. Only now am I replacing the drum on it. Brother has the drum at a reasonable price. I should get it today. If anything goes wrong, I’ll still purchase a brother printer 🖨️. It’s the best printer I’ve ever had. It is sooooo much better than these inkjet printers. Bravo Brother.
p.s. I’m not getting anything for leaving this review, it’s just the way I feel!

Fantastic, except for limited LED view angle.

Owned HL-L2300D for over 5 years. Processed several (10+) cases of Bright White heavy weight printer paper flawlessly. Only benefit to upgrading would be to choose one of the newer models which offer an adjustable LED screen which can be be viewed from either straight on or even below, as I must place the printer/scanner on a shelf at eye level. Must climb up on wheeled chair to view down on fixed upward facing LED screen. Fine for table top, but not for home users with limited desk space.

Easy to set up...great printing.....very inexpensive black and white printing......no more ink cartridges. A set of ink cartridges for my color printer cost almost as much as this printer....and I realized most of my printing was black and white!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I finally got rid of my HP printer that required not only black ink cartridges, but colored ones as well. The cartridges inevitably would dry up before I could use them for any significant length of time. My contact person in our IT department said to get a printer with a Toner Cartridge. So I did that and I'm happy with it. I will say that I miss having a copier at my house and that was one thing my other printer allowed me to have.
I would recommend this to a friend!
