Excellent phone but glitchy

Pros: The removable cover that let's you not only customize the actual look of you phone but also makes battery replacement simple. This also will allow you to expand the memory of the phone.
I can say it enough Windows 8.1 is awesome! By far the best mobile operating system on the market. Live tiles give access to so much information with just a glance and the easily customizable folder system makes it super easy to find and access your apps.
The Cons: I am on my second phone because the first one got so glitchy that it was barely usable. All of the Apps would either lock or or crash daily and the music would not sync with my cloud account (It took me almost 3 months to figure out that my phone was causing the problem). The new phone is starting to show some signs of problems but it is rare. The most common problem I have are the buttons on the bottom of the screen are often unresponsive. A lot of people rave about the camera but i find that if I have to zoom to take a picture at all the picture is highly pixilated. So things that are far away I just use my memory. And finally the cover. I know I listed the cover and a plus but it can also be a con. DO NOT DROP THIS PHONE! Even a small fall will send you phone 1 direction and the cover and battery in 2 separate directions. I just keep my phone in the case because I can not afford to let a small accident ruin my life. You also have to contend with Windows services going down semi regularly.

Was not expecting this...

Let me start by saying that I have been a long time iPhone user and decided to venture in the Windows phone arena after my phone had reached its service life. I was a little worried going the "Microsoft route" since we all heard over the years the "App Gap" facing Microsoft products. What a surprise it was when I discovered that this phone is beautiful, fast, the operating system is fluid and well designed. Now before you accuse me of being a fan boy, take a deep breath. The transition from IOS to Windows was smoother than I had thought it would be. Last but not least, all the apps I tried so far worked great, that includes Whatsapp, Skype, Office, YouTube, Netflix etc. If you are curious by nature, I say take the plunge. The Microsoft phone platform is phenomenal! Oh, btw I only had this phone 24 hours.

The Nokia Lumia 830 has won a special place in my heart where the Nokia Lumia 925 previously resided. The 830 is an all-around impressive device and probably Nokia's best device overall. The design of the phone is what immediately stands out. This phone is gorgeous. And don't let the specs fool you. The display, at 720p, actually looks like a 1080p display in person and the Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB RAM is actually very speedy and handles everything with ease. Not so much with gaming but I imagine the majority of Windows Phone users don't spend all day playing games on their phones anyway. Pick up this device! You won't be disappointed!

Impressive Phone

A nice phone overall, though the specs will not cause alarms over the Android or iOS camp but what it did is elevated the premium feel of the Windows OS.
Botton line: Don't be judge a phone by its specs.

Everything is just perfect... Keyboard, touch, display, audio, performance..... Only drawback is its poor headset.... Don't waste your time by reading reviews on web just go for it.... Oh yes it has got an excellent camera.
