Lumia 830- A great phone!

This phone was my first mobile phone and I'm still currently using it. I love the elegant design of the handset and the UI. I am also a big fan of the PureView camera. Windows Phone provides all the apps I need and Windows 8.1 (and Windows 10 on the horizon) makes this phone even better! I'd recommend this phone to anyone who's looking for a phone with style, good build quality, and that's reliable.

Good specs, without the overkill hardware most have no need for.

Not that anyone talks on these things much anymore, but the call quality is great.
Great camera, easy to use app.
720P screen look great in real life, 1080P doesn't seem necessary.
Quad core Snapdragon 400 performs well. If you play power hunger games you may want to look at a Lumia Icon (930) for more power.
Best build quality I have ever felt in a phone, and at this price point that is a bonus as most mid price phones feel a bit cheap.
A little lower price for off contract buyers would be nice given the mid range specs of the phone.
Great camera, easy to use app.

Well built phone, everything I need

This is my 3rd Windows phone. I had the 920 which I loved and upgraded to the 1520 which had everything but was too large. I thought about the 640xl but it was cheaply built and I did not like that there was no physical camera button and that the home, search, and back button were part of the video display instead of the digitizer.
This phone is well built-metal housing with an interchangeable back. Touch screen is very responsive and the resolution looks great and clear/crisp, looks better than the 1520 in my opinion. The phone is bigger than the Iphone 5s and fits great in your hand. The camera isn't the best on the market but it's plenty clear and this model does have the camera button on the side. It also came with a fitbit flex which was an added bonus.
If you have had a 920 and liked it you will definitely love this phone. I recommend to any normal person(not gamer, or app lover) that likes Windows phones.

Sleek and Awesome

Going from a Nokia Lumia 920 to this, the speed and fluidity of this phone is amazing. It really makes WindowsPhone 8.1 shine and I'm looking forward to all the great pictures I'll be taking on it!

I'm impressed with the possibilities that Windows phone offers and with its style and battery life... It's a really complete phone that I can totally rely on... And I won't begin to talk about its powerful camera... I'm nothing but amazed! Totally recommended!
