Improves Dental Health

I honestly believe the use of this product improves dental health and have purchased several for my family. I would rate this product highly in every respect except cost of brush replacement.
Pros: brushing action., timer
Cons: brush replacement cost.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works great, teeth feel great after use. Love that it has a timer always enough time to thoroughly clean teeth. Easy grip to hold and simple to use. Really glad I purchased. Philips is also a trustworthy name with good, reliable products. Does a much better job at cleaning my teeth than a manual toothbrush.

Product does the job

I already had a Sonicare Toothbrush prior to purchasing the Xtreme Battery version, so I knew what I was getting.
The Sonicare performs very well and you can definitely feel the difference when comparing it with a conventional toothbrush.
This version uses replaceable AA batteries and is convenient to take along when traveling since you don't need to take a charger along.
I am very happy with the performance of the Sonicare and my scheduled dental cleanings get done more quickly as there is less to do now.
Pros: uses replaceable batteries
Cons: doesn't prompt when to change brushing position

Do not waste your money

I had this product less than 1 week. It fell over on my bathroom counter and never worked again.

The sonic toothbrush is compact and easy to utilize. It's very effective in cleaning your teeth with speed, and lends itself to quick, comfortable use.

Brush action great but unit design is deficient

The brush as an introductory unit to sonicare works great. Teeth was both visibly clean and conveyed that feeling in your mouth. Great. The body of the unit however allows liquids to seep into the body and into the battery compartment. This drains the battery faster and introduces bacteria within the unit which has to be cleaned constantly. Both of these are undesirable. I purchased the rechargeable unit subsequently which works great and does not have the above issues.
Pros: cleans teeth as advertised, add a pro
Cons: body design is deficient, add a con

Nice narrow brush head.

I like the smaller brush head. It allows me to get to narrow areas of my mouth. I have never used this brand before and never know if it's operating properly because I'm not familiar with the product. I wish I had gotten an electric brush instead.
Pros: able to reach spaces that other brushes can't

I love this brush - afforable and no cords! Noticable difference in better dental care but IT EATS THROUGH BATTERIES - I've had 3 in two years and once again I have one that needs new batteries every week.
Very sad - not sure I'm up for a 4th.
