Bought this toothbrush on a recommendation from a friend and after discussing it with my dentist. I have been very happy with the toothbrush and it's effectiveness. It is a great product for the price. I've recommended it to several people since I've owned it.

At first I wasn't sure, but as I started using the Phillips toohbrush I was suprized on how easy it was to use, and then I noticed that within the first week I used it my teeth had become brighter!! That made me very happy! I love love this product, and I want everyone in my family to use it!!

Does a nice job on the teeth but I worry about all the banging around it does in my mouth and what that is doing to the enamel.

This brush seems to do a nice job with removing plaque and getting my teeth to have a nice clean feel. However, see above about the harshness. Does the head have to be so tough? Why not make a more flexible brush holder so it doesn't clang into teeth?
Pros: almost affordable
Cons: not affordable for most

Eats Batteries

This model was battery operated. The guide stated the batteries lasted for approximately 3 months. They didn't last more than 3 days. After purchasing the Sonicare we went away for a week. The second day I had to go buy batteries as the Sonicare would not operate. This was the case for the month I had the electric toothbrush.
I returned it to the place of purchase for a full refund. I would definitely not recommend this model.

Cons: doesn't work
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cleans teeth vey well

While changing the battery it broke. I purchased one with a charger. I will be returning it.

The Sonicare was recommended by my dentist's office. I am not disappointed. I love it. I just wish I did not have to change the batteries as often - about once every 2.5 - 3 weeks. I bought one for my husband too - no complaints!
