I've used Sonicare products for years but this very reasonably priced battery operated version is the most convenient oral aid I've ever experienced. Batteries seem to last a long time and the power doesn't diminish until they wear out. I've had two of these over the last few years and when the first one stopped working and I bought the second one I noted that there was even a warranty that might have covered replacement of the first unit. Another plus. In addition, I like the unit because I don't have to bring a charger with me when traveling, just an extra set of batteries in case. I liked the product so much I have bought several for family all of whom love it. Highly recommend.
Batteries ran out in 8 days. Design of brush head is poor.

Besides having to replace the batteries after 8 days I feel that the design of the brush head is poor as you have to replace it every 3 months and it is about 1/3 of the tooth brush. Why couldn't you have a design that would allow you to just replace the brush and not the WHOLE brush head? Sure is not customer friendly but sure makes a lot of money for Philips. Al S
My husband and I both love it! We are getting more as Christmas gifts for our family.
Pros: teeth feel clean all the time.
Cons: can't think of any.

reliable, cheap aaa batteries, are found everywhere, last a long time. brush head is just right, not too soft, not too stiff.
Cons: can't buy just 1 brush head at a time.

I am happy to report my 6 month dental checkups are always great! That means less $ and less pain so I don't mind going to the dentist now. That and flossing is my best advice and great toothpaste to keep them sparkling. It's one of my best assets!
