You can use this model & add rechargeable batteries for a lot less than buying the model with everything in the handle. I owned both & this one is superior and less than half the cost.

I bought it thinking it would help brushing since i have arthritic thumbs. But it is so powerful that i am afraid it is going to dig the fillings out of my teeth and it sprays all over my shirt and the mirrors plus the sink and counters. So i find that i don't use it very often. I would like to know if it can actually harm your teeth if you have a lot of fillings and caps.
Pros: powerful
Cons: hard to shut off
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I thought it would be a difficult unit to use. I am a first time user of sonic care products. I feel more confident in the added it to my dental hygene routine.

The buzzing of the head takes a little bit to get used to

The buzzing head took a little to get used to, but this brush does a fine job of cleaning the teeth and gums. The 2 minute auto shut off it a great idea!

Ever since I began using Phillips Sonicare toothbrushes I have received the best report from my dentist visits. I have not had any cavities and they brag on how good my teeth and gums are. I highly recommend this product.

I love how inexpensive this toothbrush was and yet it is the best battery powered toothbrush I've ever used. Although, the only downside of which I can think is that the manufacturer recommends that the head be replaced every 3 months. I checked the prices and they are almost as much as the toothbrush itself.
Pros: easy to use excellent performance
Cons: replacement heads are expensive
