I bought it for a recent trip to England because of its battery power, and because i had used the similar electric model for years.
It started up easily and produced good power to clean my teeth.
It gave me one less important travel item that did not need a plug for electrical current changes.
Pros: reliabilty
Cons: none

Poor Seal

Water has already leaked in and corroded the rechargeable batteries I bought to use with it. It appears it will stop working shortly as it's already occasionally not working. Really like the idea of having one of these that doesn't have to sit on a charger since that doesn't look terribly nice in our nice new remodeled bathroom, but the design really needs to be rethought!
Pros: aa battery powered, works well initially
Cons: leaks into the battery compartment
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It needs a better grip because it gets slippery when wet. The batteries have too be changed every two months, if not sooner, and some parts are difficult to clean. It does a great job, but I think I would prefer a rechargeable one.
Pros: it cleans well.
Cons: it's hard to hold on to., it's difficult to clean., batteries have to be replaced often.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Product for Traveling

My wife and I each have a Sonicare toothbrush at home that plugs into an electrical outlet. We purchased two more battery operated Sonicare toothbrushes for a two week trip to Spain and they were excellent. These battery operated toothbrushes work as efficiently as the plug-in type and we didn't have to worry about electrical outlets, plug adapters, and voltage regulators. In short, these battery operated toothbrushes are great for traveling.
Pros: great for traveling.
Cons: none

Fantastic toothbrush!

I never thought it could be this easy to take care of my teeth! My wife purchased it for Christmas and we both use it religously. My dentist even noticed a difference at my last check-up. Should have got one of these years ago.

Excellent product - no problems

Initially concerned with switch and battery due to sme of what I read from others. However, based on first use (spouse and I each had one) during a recent three-week trip, theyboth performed great -- same as the re-chargeable ones we use at home. No problems at all.
Pros: easy to use good quality excellent performance

I like the way my teeth feel!

I really do like the way my teeth feel after i brush. The only part I think could use some improvement is the ability of getting behind the teeth efficiently. But overall I one it.
