Replacing my quad after many years of great service wasn't easy. My new Xtreme Battery sonic seems to be doing the job well.
Pros: convenient for travel

This product has been working very well for me. It keeps the gums in good condition. The batteries last a long time.

Bought the model for xmas and it just stopped working after a couple of months...changed batteries and still didn't work. Bought an Oral B top of the line for a faction or the cost. Sorry Sonic Care too expensive and really not the great.

I have been using the regular electric rechargeable sonicare tooth brushes for years and they have been very good but I am really starting to prefer the battery powered sonicare model more, because if you travel much you dont need to be concerned about the charger, and keeping the brush handle charged, because this one only needs two AA batteries that can be purchased almost anywhere. The battery sonicare is made very good and works just as good as the rechargeable models and the batteries will last from three to six weeks and the recharge model only lasts me several years
Pros: excellent designed, works great, and is attractive
Cons: so far none

It worked great while it worked.

It worked great while it worked, but a few months ago it quit working. I guess the connections were too corroded to get a good connection to work. Really disappointed, especially after owning a several more expensive Sonic brushes in the past. I went to the battery operated type because the rechargeable type seemed to stop lasting as long too.
Poor Product wouldn't take another if it was a gift.n

Bought this toothbrush for my husband as the suggestion of his dentist after his visit in Jan. 2013. On and off switch was difficult to work from the outset. Next thing it needed new batteries. Then some weeks ago it quit working altogether. Removed the batteries and they were covered with grease that had removed the paint from the outside of the batteries.
