Super convenient. Performs exactly as expected. The extra pluses are: blade stays attached when emptying contents, top has holes to pour liquid into (many of these small processors don’t have that feature), small size easy to store and grab whenever I need it, cleans beautifully in dishwasher. Only drawback is the lid is slightly tricky to attach/detach, although I finally got the knack.

This model has a sturdy metal base and feels very substantial. It has a powerful motor - perhaps too powerful - and performs well. You MUST hold the entire unit down while operating. In the first 2 uses, two plastic corners on the base of the bowl snapped off. The processer needs a more substantial locking mechanism to keep the bowl firmly in place.

Our previous 1.5 cup chopper/grinder quit working and I am so glad for that. It had a small bowl, it was all plastic and took multiple attempts to chop enough vegetables and fruits for meals. After completing a considerable amount of research, it became apparent that a four cup would be perfect. Four cup grinder takes up minimal space in the cupboard, is powerful enough to take on the toughest tasks and that's why we selected the Cuisinart Elite Collection 4 Cup Chopper/Grinder. it's everything we expected from Cuisinart. Great finish, minimal plastic, great grinding performance and reasonable price. You will not be disappointed with this selection.

Limited use so far, but good for puree'ing. Chopping, such as for salsa, etc., isn't as good as I would have liked or I don't have the nack yet for getting it to the right consistency without it being a puree.
