Bought this five weeks ago. I’ve used it to grind bread crumbs and cracker crumbs. It did fine. However, I attempted to grind pecorino romano cheese that was cut into one inch cubes but cold and it wouldn’t work at all. Motor shut down and I unplugged it. My 32 year old Sunbeam Oskar did the job just fine. Although my little Oskar still works great, I wanted a larger bowl for bigger jobs without using a food processor. I find the quality of the plastic bowl flimsy when compared to the Oskar. All in all I have to say I am disappointed in the performance of this product. I own several cuisinart small appliances and this one doesn’t measure up to the others.

Having spent far too long chopping and mincing herbs, onion, shallots, I purchased a Cuisinart Chopper. Made all the difference in how much time it took to prepare a simple salmon dish with lots of herbs. So glad I could now spend more time with guests and less time weeping over onion and shallots. 😆

Truth be told, I was out to replace my 3-cup Cuisinart that I had used a great deal for many years (plastic parts were cracked and metal rusted). The store only showed the 4-cup and so I mistakenly thought that it had taken the place of the 3-cup. Although the smaller size was sufficient, I am enjoying the mixer stem that doesn't have to be removed when emptying the food from the cup. (I do find it a little difficult to remove for washing). Since I cook for 2 now, the extra cup size has replaced my need for using my larger Cuisinart.

Easy to put together and take apart. Handles bigger chopping/blending jobs, yet still fits easily under my counter. I don’t have to leave it out. Great addition to my kitchen!

This little chopper is awesome! It has such a small gap between the bottom of the cup and the blade, that it chops and minces every piece, every time, not missing anything. The only complaint I have is that I am not able to grind dry ingredients. It mostly just spins the spices around. I expected it to work like the small coffee grinder I have, but it does not.

I love knife work in cooking, but there are so many times when this little guy does the fine stuff better and faster. It's my second model, and since I got it I've processed chopped liver, essential purrees for Rick Bayless's chiles, starters for Indian keemas, mushrooms for duxelles...it never stops. Our kitchen is very small, but this tool is always there, at hand, with no larger a footprint than a paper towel holder. Yay!
