I love knife work in cooking, but there are so many times when this little guy does the fine stuff better and faster. It's my second model, and since I got it I've processed chopped liver, essential purrees for Rick Bayless's chiles, starters for Indian keemas, mushrooms for duxelles...it never stops. Our kitchen is very small, but this tool is always there, at hand, with no larger a footprint than a paper towel holder. Yay!

Great mini chopper for your kitchen, does most of the things you want to do making salsa or chopping walnuts...etc...with a little chopper. I love it, I highly recommend it

This chopper does a good job at chopping. I like the fact that the blade stays in until you take it out. On the minus side, I find it difficult to assemble and unassemble, and also that it is almost too light weight. I feel I need to hold it down while it is chopping. This was a gift, but if I had a hands on choice, I probably would have given it a pass.

Some reviews state unit is “die cast-“ leading one to believe the base is made of die cast metal, when in fact it appears to be injection molded plastic.
Works great so far. Does what it’s supposed to do, like the blade lock feature!
My biggest problem will be down sizing recipes to accommodate the size

The cover requires two hands to remove, one to hold the bottom to keep it from turning and one to twist the top. Difficult to clean the inside of the blade. The handle gets moisture inside, when washed, that takes a while to dry out.
Otherwise, very happy with the performance.

Chops evenly, and quickly. Really easy to use, and clean up after. One small difficulty is how hard the lid is to get off after it has been used. Took three of us to get it off after the last batch of chopped pistachios.

I live in a studio apt and wanted a food processor mostly to make nice cream. I have a ninja which makes great smoothies but just wasn't right for the job of making nice thick smooth nice cream. This cuisinart is perfect for the job and the size is great for one or two servings and fits nicely on my small amount of counter space. It works well, very powerful blending. Would definitely recommend.
