economy mode is a joke

Good air conditioner for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeps the room cool, is a little bit on the noisy side. The economy setting is probably saving a lot of energy but is annoying when the unit shuts down then starts up again so many times.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my second Frigidaire A/C in my home. The first was a window unit. This is a 25k BTU wall unit. The two main things I like about both is (1) remote control and (2) economy mode. Let me elaborate: Remote control. I'm 5' 6" and while I don't really need the remote for the window unit, using a broom handle to turn the old wall unit on and off was no treat so being able to control the Frigidaire wall unit remotely to turn it on and off and adjust the temperature is great. Oh, yes. There is a (3) - the filter. The old wall unit had a soft filter. I didn't like it. The new wall unit and the window unit both have framed, hard filters: easy to take in and out of the unit and easy to clean. A great improvement. I also have a Frigidaire A/C in my office at my part-time job (I'm retired). When I finally hang up my computer keyboard I'm taking my office A/C home. P.S., I have extended service plans on all three. Bottom line: I wouldn't buy another other A/C brand than Frigidaire. It lives up to its name: frigid air. And they're totally convenient, too. Wow!

It is a well known brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this new a/c unit. It cools my entire downstairs. Frigidaire is a very well known brand amongst other appliances they sell. I have a dishwasher I purchased back in 2009 and it is still going strong.
