what a savings on my high electric bill!

I just bought the 25,000 BTU Window Air Conditioner, its great, I started getting a discount on my electric bill immediately, and its good looking, see pic.

Nice cool breeze...

I got this over the summer after having another brand for just over a year---yep, warranty was up! This AC cools my entire main floor, which is just over 1100 sq ft. It's a pretty quiet machine and you can move the vents in any direction you want them to go. The only reason I give 4 stars is because it is very hard to maneuver the vents to go where you want them easily... it takes some time to get them just right (though I do have medical issues that hinder my hand/eye coordination) and the fan could blow a little harder, but all in all it does a great job. I love that it has the air cleaner, as I have breathing issues and this was one of the deciding factors for me. You really cant go wrong with this unit for the price. With the energy saving feature, another deciding factor, the almost $50 decrease in my electric bill by using this machine over my central AC, really, it's a no brainer. I wish I had switched to this unit years ago....I could have saved lots of money. It paid for itself in no time.

Great features

We purchased this a couple months ago and it fit in the same place as our previous 30-year-old unit. It has so many more features and is efficient, too. We love that it cycles and tests the temperature from the room on its own, not running until necessary. It really puts out the cold air, too.

I brought this unit several months ago and was very pleased that if fitted into the existing thru the wall opening, great features, quite and was enable to get more BTU than the old unit using the same electrical outlet.

Happy with our window air. Cools great with the heat index over 100. Had the same size and kind before.It was easy to slip right into the old case plugged it in and cooled right away.

Powerful AC

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At 25,000 btu, this AC is used to cool a very large room. It is installed as a 'through-the-wall' unit, located about 8' off the floor. The remote temp sensor built into the remote control let me to position the control around the room to make sure that the cooling is actually reaching all parts of the room.

The Coolest Air Conditioner

Considering the unit is installed through, brick and mortar, it is extremely quite unlike its predecessor. It cools our entire first floor and with the remote, we never have to get up and walk to the unit to turn it on or off. We are very glad we chose our Frigidaire air conditioner.

Most features available on a window AC

I bought this unit to cool one room in this home but with the assistance of floor fans and ceiling fans I can control how cool the entire house is with this one unit! Am I pleased? You can believe I am. Also, this brand has the best warranty on the present market. I would recommend this brand and model to anyone that needs a large BTU such as 25000.
