From 18000 to 25000 btu in our 1547 sq ft home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When our old AC quit on us, we replaced it with this one for the extra 7000 btus/better cooling of our open-floor home. It does cool better, but the claim that it will cool up to 1600 sq ft is stretching it. The kitchen and family room on either side of the open floor space it's in still get too warm in the afternoon even with the AC on high. We expected more. One small annoyance is that every time we turn it off and then back on, it switches from our 'cool' setting to 'economy' by default. So we have to reset it every time we use it. All of that being said, it's WAY better than the 18000 btu we had. We'd buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a few months ago I'm not happy with it you cannot change the location of the plug on the unit from one side to tge other. so it's only fixed on one side of the AC unit and the remote sensor does not respond well in eco mode the unit starts off for 10 seconds and then shuts down and restarts again. that's going to put lots of wear and tear on the unit can't see it lasting long
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I hate that you are not fully satisfied with your purchase. Your air conditioner is factory set to run in in eco (energy saver) mode. You can leave it in eco mode to help save energy and money. If you would like to switch out of eco mode, touch the button until another mode is selected.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit works really well, cools down the area quickly. Quieter than previous unit. Mainly run it on low since it cools so well. I would have rated it as five stars but the packaging was inadequate to protect the unit. There is a crack on the faceplate that, fortunately, doesn't show too much in its installed position. Exchanging the unit would have been too much hassle as it would have interfered with the installation timing as I needed help lifting the unit into place. It is rather heavy. This form for reviewing is very frustrating!!!!!!!!

Terrible, it arrived broken for starters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As the title states it arrived broken and since there was no physical damage to the unit itself I can only assume it left the factory with a broken fan blade. Then to make things worse I still do not have a replacement. I was told it would take two days to get a letter in the mail, then I could mail back what they wanted off the ac. Well that was 2 weeks ago. I’m not at all happy, obviously I cannot review the unit itself, I can only make note of the terrible quality control and slow warranty process.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
