Great A/C

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit in early June before the real heat of summer came and it was the best decision I could have made. I bought it for a connecting living and dining rm with a open kitchen next to the two rooms. The A/C does a great job keeping all three rooms cool and comfortable without working very hard. The unit runs fairly quiet allowing you to still hear the t.v. in the room with it running. Very happy with this purchase.

Review of ANOTHER Frigidaire bought 4 yrs ago

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have NO problems with the latest Frigidaire unit I recently purchased...so far (it's only been 3 months.) HOWEVER, I purchased model FRA106HT1 4 years ago for my bedroom and it will not respond to control panel selections. It just stays on all the time and must be physically unplugged from the wall to be turned off. My local installer says it is too expensive to repair and must be REPLACED! I am VERY disappointed with this product. It should not break down after only 4 years of service especially since it replaced another unit after 27 years of service. I am surprised that Frigidaire does not stand behind their products, the installer says Frigidaire will not replace this unit. In spite of all this I will rate the FFRE2533S2 I purchase 4 months ago below.

Poor long lasting

25000 btu a/c

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] bought 8/21/17. installed 8/25/17. Very functional. Not pleased with energy saver. Unit needs to turn on to sense room temp for 10 seconds or so every 15 minutes or so. This is unlike my previous unit which only turned on when room temp was higher than unit setting. Also, unit is quite noisy. Unit is in master bedroom which presents a problem while sleeping.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I hate that you are not fully satisfied with your new purchase. Your air conditioner is factory set to run in in eco (energy saver) mode. You can leave it in eco mode to help save energy and money. If you would like to switch out of eco mode, touch the button until another mode is selected.
However, your air conditioner may make many sounds, such as high pitched chatter, vibration, ping, swishing, sound of rushing air, gurgle or hissing; which is a part of the normal operations. If you are experiencing any unusual sounds, please contact us directly at 1-877-435-3287 Monday-Friday 8am-8pm EST and Saturday 9am-6pm EST at your convenience.
