Worst appliance I own!

My room is 12 ft by 21 ft 250 sq ft! This unit hardly cools the room unless it runs all day, even on Eco save. In the winter it just about heats the room unless it runs all the time! My electric bills have soared ever since I had this installed! It's so noisy i have turn up the volume on my T.V. which is only 8 ft from myself. This truly is the worst! Never Again! I'm looking into a mini split system, but I can't afford one right now! Will have to suffer till then. Should've gone with Mini first! Most regrettable!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great AC

We bought and installed this AC in early June. Temperatures during the summer here in South Carolina range from upper 90s to low 100s days and upper 80s at night. This AC cools our 500 sq. ft. upstairs bedroom and bath with no problem. We were very happy with the price and on time shipping. We're looking forward to cooler temperatures so we can try the heat. Very impressed with the quality of this Frigidaire product. Everything works as advertised.

Worth the wait!

I got this unit as a replacement for an earlier model and it has been a powerhouse this VERY HOT NYC summer. I use it to cool my 450 square foot studio and I wake up happily cold every morning. It's also great for the pets who are important to keep cool in the heat. I haven't tried the warming function yet, but so far this unit was worth the wait and was installed with precision to ensure continued functionality. Many thanks Frigidaire!

Great Air Conditioner

I bought this before the summer began. we are having one of the hottest summers on record. This unit has performed great!! We are nice and comfortable while it is actually oppressive outdoors.

I've had this for about 6 weeks now. It's installed in the living room wall, but it keeps my entire downstairs very comfortable, even on days when the temp is in the mid 90s. It's fairly quiet, very easy to use, and I never have to set the fan speed higher than low.
One note: make sure it's properly installed and well ventilated, especially at the back. Mine wasn't cooling properly at first. It would let the room get up to over 80 degrees, and the compressor still wouldn't engage, even though I had the temp set at 60. I pushed the unit the rest of the way to the back of the wall sleeve (not the one made for the unit; it was already in the wall) so the back of the A/C was against the back of the sleeve. This allowed the unit to push air directly outside rather than into the empty space between the back of the unit and the back of the wall sleeve. Then it started working very well.

Very loud -

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this AC/Heater combo last year. The AC is very loud We cannot hear each other or TV when it's on, so we don't use it. The heater is of no use at all.
