Can't Beat the Heat

This unit has trouble keeping my office cool. Though it's the correct size for the room where I'm using it, around noon the temperature slowly begins to rise so around 5:00 pm, it's nearly 80º, even with the AC is set to 68º.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good quality Great features

This thing is a beast 14000 btu's so the fact it has an energy saver mode and is energy star rated is a huge plus.The timer and thermostat make it even better, set it and forget it you come home to a cool dry house but your electric bill has not tripled.I have a 12 year old Frigidaire in my bedroom and it still works good as new not quite energy efficient its a bare bones model I put a plug in timer on it that helps alot. customer service is great as well even though I bought an open box unit it still has full warranty and they sent me the remote that was missing

I bought this a supplemental heat source for my 18x25 sun room and it does a great job of keeping the room warm. Temps have been near zero and it was able to still do the job. The electric bill took a hit but it is worth it to be able to use the sun room all winter

Expecting great things!

I bought this primarily for a room that has been difficult to cool when the temp reaches high 90s and above. I bought it in October so I havent had an opportunity to test it however I feel like it will do a great job. I've turned the heater on a few times for a few minutes as back up heat and it runs so nice and quiet with no vibration in the walls and windows.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Outstanding Product

I bought my air conditioner in May of this year to heat and cool a 600 square foot room over my garage. In the past month or two we have seen most days in the high 90's and this product has been great. It keeps the room comfortable and is energy efficient. The features included make the unit easy to use and you'r not constantly adjusting the temperature. It was a great buy for me.

Works as Expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] California is in the middle of a heat wave and fortunately I have this AC. It simply a set and forget system. It's quite and cools my Apt. My only issue is that the AC wall sleeve is high up the top of the wall in my Apt. The vents won't point down so I had to Jerry Rig a flap that doesn't work well. I would have loved if I could point the vents downward.
