Black ink quit working

Black ink quit working. Thinking about buying a different brand. Tried clean printhead...colors work just fine. No black ink printing at all. Levels fine. New cartridge.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love 920 Individual Ink Cartridges

I bought the Office Jet 6000 specifically because it uses separate cartridges for each ink and I don't have to change out colors I am not out of when one runs out. I always keep spares on hand so I never have an issue.Obviously I go through a lot more Black than color, but I never use the colors evenly, and I hate wasting ink I haven't used because all the colors are packaged together.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The HP Magenta cartridge has the same problem as the cartridge it was meant to replace: the ink has congealed into something similar to a pencil eraser and it won't lay down any ink on the page. I think I'll switch to Epson.

I decided to give this product a 2nd chance so I just bought another. I bought the first one for the "value" (duh) but after about 3 weeks it started printing weird lines on the page at random. I.thought maybe my printer was going on the fritz. I switched to the regular sized 920 and problem solved so I threw the XL in the garbage. So much for saving money! Was really surprised too because have always had good luck with HP quality. This one better deliver as advertised or I might just go to a different brand of printer.
