High Yield Cartridges

The HP High Yield cartridges (all colors) are long-lasting and convenient to use. I recycle the empty cartridges via HP Planet Partners return & recycling program.
I would recommend this to a friend!

HP 920XL Yellow Officejet Ink Cartridge

My printer is relatively new but I am already on my third yellow cartridge because the other two failed before running out of ink. The message was along the lines of "The yellow cartridge is damaged". At one stage an HP rep told me that my printer was malfunctioning and I needed to buy a new one - I cleaned the cartridge and soaked the jet area in warm water for a couple of minutes, replaced it and it worked for another few weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These cartridges are very simple and quick to install, and can be taken back to a cartridge store for a refill. They last for quite a while and print out many pages of beautiful color pictures.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was feeling blue...

I received the Cyan 920XL cartridge in good order but there was an unusual incident (I hope) that happened when I pulled the tab to open it. I felt it before I saw it...there was blue (sorry, Cyan) all over my hands. Luckily, I was wearing old bluejeans and I only got a few drops on them. The leak came from the back of the cartridge rather than the buisness end.
I can only believe this happened because I live about a mile above sea level and we have had potatoe chip bags pop open when brought from a lower elevation. I have used maybe 10 or 12 cartridges for my (new) Officejet 7000 and none of them have leaked. Needless to say I will be cautious from now on.
