For a basic surge unit this is fully featured!

For a basic home Surge Protector this unit is full of features. Protects 8 outlets with 4 of them spaced further apart for larger plugs. Has phone splitter, coax, and a swivel cord. These are great!

The brand has built good will with me. They take me back to the 90s. I did find one with more joules protection, but went with this one. This does give me more of an indication of what's wrong with the outlet, reverse polarity, etc. good thing to have if I use it in another person's house. Also, it has a built in child/sneeze guard on the outlets. Love the cable and (I guess some people still use a fax line) telephone line protectors. I don't like that the cord is limited to a 360 flat swivel, but I know that's designed to keep me from bending the cable and weakening the conductivity safety. Sort of disappointed that there wasn't an additional outlet or two, but that would invite drawing in an imprudent amount of electricity to one strip over what most are probably hooking up to non-heavy duty extension chords or adapters. Wish it came in another color (yeah, we techs do like to make a statement). Never know if it works til the lightning strikes. If it doesn't work, at least I know they have equity going back to the 90s to back up their product damage warranty.

The sliding covers for unused outlets to keep dust off is a great solution, wall-mountable is a great feature and the thick, sturdy, rotating cord offers great flexibility for placement.

Not working with new lg oled tv's

I have 4 of these and they work very good. I bought 2 new oled tv's, the g2 and c2 and these no longer work. Tried all of them and had no success working with the new tv's. Changed the setting switch both way's and still not working. So be careful with new lg oled tv's.
