Quick to learn, elegant to operate, quiet. Has outperformed any front loader I've owned. Cleaning of clothes factor is off the charts. I would buy another LG should I outlive this washer. Finally, there is that lovely song this LG plays when cycle is finished - what a creative touch.

Great Washer

I bought the WM2050CW washer on 4/22/10, and am extremely happy with this washer. My favorite feature is "load sensing" that determines the size of the load. Very little water is used and yet even the dirtiest loads come clean. The maintenance required to avoid mold problems is quite easy, just leave the dispenser drawer and door open and wipe door gasket after use.

I was apprehensive to spend the money for a quality washer. The warranty is far better than the other brands is alone the incentive to buy. LG tells me that they believe in their product enough to offer it. Saved on my electric and water bill. It wrings clothes out so well the drying time was almost cut in half. Those savings also alone should be incentive enough. It is well made with its clean design coupled with being solidly built. It cleaned my clothes far better than our old top loader. It is embarassing infact, that I thought our laundry was clean before. My wife loves it and that for me is well worth it :)

Love This Washer

I wanted to reduce our water & electric bills and changed over to this larger capacity front loader. Have always owned a top loader. Did some research that brought us to this quality machine. I love the features on the machine especially the feature that tells me the size of the load for the amount of soap to use. I have cut the number of loads I do a week considerably and Know I will see savings on our electric and water bills. It is effecient, easy and good looking. So happy I made the change to this machine!!

Great Washer so far!

We bought this washer when ours decided it didn't want to work anymore. We had talked to an appliance repair man and LG was one of the products he recommended. Since we didn't need all the bells and whistles, we went for the least expensive front loaded. It has worked great so far with no major issues. Since we had a ton of laundry to do we really put it to the test when we first got it. Once is a while the vibration is a touch loud, but that is the load not being balanced correctly in the wash. Also, there are some strange noises (not loud) that show up when we choose something other than the standard wash cycle. Other than those minor things, perfect.

Haven't found anything I don't like

This washer wasn't my first choice, my husband wanted it. I felt that with my 2 teen-aged, sports minded, sons and husband I don't have a need for convoluted wash, rinse and spin cycles. We're a hot/cold, normal/delicate kind of wash family so I was leery of getting a washer with all the bells and whistles (in my mind it's just something else that can break). We've had the washer for two weeks, I've only used the basic settings of wash type, water temp, soil and spin level and I've been very, very pleased. The washer is quiet, cleans well and has cut drying time by 75% (even the jeans I hang to dry so they don't shorten). Once we get our 1st water bill since using this machine I'm sure I'll be over the top. Right now with how I've used it, it's great. I can't find anything I don't like about it. Oh yeah, this is in a laundry closet and it was the smallest depth front loading washer we could find to fit the space.

We bought this washer when my other one, 15 years old, decided to quit working. I love it! It doesn't use nearly as much water, but my clothes come out clean and almost dry. We liked it so much, we went back and bought the dryer to match it!
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, easy enough for my 11 year old to use!, value for the money
