What a Value

Lg made it fun for a man to do laundry! the kid are entertains too! being on a well /septic system we are saving tons of water/drainage as the water consumption of this washer is about a quarter of our old top load washer. drying times are down by about 25 minutes per load as the cloths come out almost dry!!! the washer is very quiet (leveling the washer is a must). only downfall I have noticed is some of the wash cycles can be up almost two hours, but the quick wash settings.
Pros: Performance, Quality, water usage, entertainment for kids

Fantastic Bargain

Purchased this washer as a closeout deal and what a bargain. I was amazed at the functionality of the washer and how well it spins out the clothes which in turn saves you money when drying them. This was a Consumer Reports best buy and I can see why. Excellent value. Nothing but praise for this amazing washer.

Fulfills the promise

This washer was purchased to replace one from the early 90s that still "worked". It wouldn't take much to be a step up, but this really impressed. The design is focused on usability and regular use requires very little effort. Even the little song it sings at the end of a cycle is distinctive and pleasant. We have used the clean out port without trouble and every available setting. Vibration is low and we have not had issues with leaking, smell, or incomplete cycles.
Gripes are few and insignificant. When we have used bleach or vinegar in the feeder tray, it continues to have fluid in it and smell like bleach (or vinegar) which makes me worry that it isn't all being used up. We haven't noticed it affecting future loads or this would be a major complaint. The additional options (extra rinse, water plus, etc) are handy, but cannot be used in combination with each other, which has been frustrating at times, but is a rather infrequent issue. Finally, the detergent tray does not have to be closed for the machine to run, and a couple times I have forgotten to push it in before the cycle runs, failing to use any detergent at all. It hasn't ever been out far enough to spill water, but I imagine that is possible as well.

Great for cloth diapers

We're a family with 3 little ones and it is so awesome to be able to pack the washer full and get more clothes done in fewer loads. This washer also works great for cloth diapers as there are many options to set the water.

Greatest Purchase Yet!

This is my first front loader. I thought it would be hard to adjust. But with this washer it was so easy. It does almost all the washing for you except moving the wash in & out. It tells you how much detergent you need, and then sets it own water and wash time by it self (with just a little help from the buttons) by how much wash you put in and how dirty the wash is. No guess work on my part and I'm saving energy and water, which will save me more money. Just a great washer!

Great machine

This washer works very well, has lots of options, and plays nice tunes! It may take longer than an old-fashioned washer, but it has a large capacity, many options, and spins so efficiently that the dryer time will be much reduced. It spins so much that it can be a little noisy or move around a bit if not completely level (We had to move it and ever since it has been a little noisier). Despite this, we are very happy with the machine and feel we got a good value.
