This washer is fun to use with all the buttons and light-up features. It is pretty easy to figure out and I think it does a good job getting the clothes clean. After we purchased it, I did read that some people had trouble with odors and they recommended drying the rubber seal after each use so I have been doing that. It is kind of a pain but if it keeps the washer from developing a foul odor then that is what I will do.
Pros: Performance, Features/Settings, easy to use

Excellent New Washer

This product was easy to use and install. I was a little tentative at first with all of the push button options, but it was very easy. Clothes come out so much dryer that the top loader this replaced. This washer was perfect because it has more than enough room to handle all of our clothes and does not have fancy add on functions that I do not need.

This washer is a great bargain and has many features that you find on the high end. Direct Drive is a good plus. Also the customization of that the electronics package offers is great. Advise a good way of mounting the washer to the pedestal would be great for my back.

My new washer was just delivered yesterday 7/25/10. I have been using it non-stop - tryingto catch up from not having a washer for the past week. The clothes come out clean and fresh. I love all of the features, especially the pre-wash option.

Finally someone made a washer that does it all correctly! I have also seen a drop in my water usage since getting this machine. We love it and would highly recommend it. It spins the cloths dry to the point where I am having to do less drying also!

Excellent Value for the Money

Owned this washer for almost 3 months. It is my first front loader. The entire cycle is longer than the top loader but I don't mind. It is quiet, cleans the clothes thoroughly, so far. I appreciate the ability to customize the cycles to suit my needs. If I choose the "Bulky/Heavy" setting, it restricts the spin speed and therefore, not as much water is extracted from the clothes and takes longer to dry than does the "Cotton/Normal" cycle. The washer will "shake, rattle and roll" if you incorrectly place bulky items in the washer and set the "Cotton/Normal" setting instead of "Bulky/Heavy". It isn't always clear where to set the line. If in doubt, choose "Bulky/Heavy". Wiping the door and rubber gasket and leaving the door open to let it dry is a must. I find this washer to be a good choice.
