I love this front loader! I have never owned front loaders before and I will never buy anything else ever again. We bought matching washer and dryer and they didn't fit in the space in our apartment so we bought the kit to stack them on top of each other. It works great!! I was really skeptic at first but I sure am glad we bought it. It allows us to have more room and its much easier throwing things in the dryer now. The only thing is that I wish we would have leveled them perfectly first because when the spin cycle first starts up they wobble just a little, then when it gets going it is amazing. The clothes are almost dry coming out of the washer. Which means less dry time...amazing!! These products are wonderful...clothes come out clean and smell great. I couldn't ask for a better product!!

I recently needed to replace my old washer, after reading a ton of reviews on all different makes & comparing price and visiting 5 different appliance stores, LG won hands down. And I couldn't be happier with the product, smooth, powerful and quite, it is perfect

When I went looking for a washer/dryer set (my dryer died) The sales rep kept trying to impress me with all the gadgets of the high end models. I didn't need a control panel that lit up, or a capacity to fit a small car, or 800 cycles to chose from. I purchased this washer, and the matching dryer based on consumer reviews online and professional LG reviews. And the price...it was the only one in my range that had a 4.0 capacity. No fancy gizmos...very easy to use. Quiet, no dripping wet clothes when the cycle is over...I could not be happier with my decision.

This machine is terrible dont waste your money so not worth it. It wont last you and doesnt clean clothes well. you wont have it for more than 5 years with out it breaking. I will never buy LG again I am very dissapointed,

this product leaks

We have had this washer for 3 years and it has leaked from the back of the unit 6 months in. We have had it serviced 2x and they cannot find out why it is leaking or where the leak is coming from. They have dislodged a sock that was sucked in the drum during a spin cycle thinking this was the cause, but no such luck. 2 loads later the unit started leaking again. We have water damage in the adjoining room because of the random water leaks.
Pros: Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent except drain

This machine works great, cleans great , uses little water, spins and dries the load so I save on dryer time too. My only complaint is that to drain the screening area is difficult since I don't have the machine on a pedastal. There is only about 4 inches and it's drains by gravity, so finding a pan to drain into is tough.

This is my first LG product, and I am very happy with the washer and the dryer we purchased. This front load washer works so nicely with less water and detergent and less wrinkling than my last one.

Great Washer & Dryer

I bought another LG machine on black friday and they called to inform me that it had been discontinued. LG graciously upgraded me to this washer with the matching dryer. At first I was concerned because I had done extensive reasearch on the 1st model as it was a Consumer Reports Best Buy. The 1st time I used this washer I put all of those concerns behind me!! This is an excellant washer my clothes came out cleaner than ever. The dryer is very fast in it's drying time and both are very quiet.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design
