We purchased the WM2050 washer & companion dryer after considerable searching. Both rank high with Consumer Reports. The washer has excellent efficiency stats in the Energy Star comparison tables. In combination with the features that best suit our needs and highly favorable owner reviews the machine's qualities made it a top choice. Nearly two months' experience with the units have proven that it's a good choice. Except for spin cycles that are slightly out-of-balance, the machine is quiet on all cycles. The controls are clear and easy to read. We have the dryer stacked on top of the washer. For us (5'4" and 5'6") the controls are accessible and easy to read. We have run a variety of loads and have been surprised at the cleanliness with the modest use of water compared to the 20 yr top tub unit that it replaced. I think that the opportunity to review the machine after a year of use would provide a truer evaluation on the product's value.

I really like the LG washer. I had visited a friend who had one and used it several times, so when I needed a new washer, I looked at the LG
It has excellent features and is easy to use.
I especially like the many choices for extra rinse, soil level and length of time left in the cycle
The instruction manual is easy to follow.

I have done 12 loads of wash with varying sizes and soil level, water temperatures, etc.

Works great! only thing that could be improved is necessity of leaving door open after use to prevent mildew/let dry

Love my new washer

Replaced my old front loading washing machine ( 15 years old) with this model.
Love the look of the machine, clean and stylish. The door structure is strong and much better than my old machine. I really like the large drum and load capacity. I don't have any problem with shaking, or any movement with the machine. I also really like how little water and soap it requires!
The buttons are easy to use and I feel it has all the settings I could possible need. The clothes come out almost dry to the touch! Saves a lot of drying time.

Great Washer...only minor issues

Excellent washer...quiet, uses extremely small amounts of water, cleans well. Only two problems: 1. Uses such little water the water entering the machine does not have time to get hot before the machine is full. I wish I had purchased the model with an internal heater. 2. Bleach dispenser dispenses immediately no matter how slowly I pour the bleach into the dispenser.

Cons: Value, dispensers dispense too soon
