2050CW Washer
on June 15, 2010

I'd never bought a frontloader before and I am really impressed. It holds a lot, washes very well, seems to use just enough water, and is very quiet. As others have said, the clothes are mostly dry when they come out of the washer so the automatic 41 min cycle on the dryer really only lasts less than 30 minutes.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Had my new LG washer for about 2 months now and I am very pleased. Although it has quite a few features that I am not familiar with, the ease and convenience of this model has been very pleasant. Quiet and efficient to say the least.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Excellent Machine

We have been impressed with the washer so far. We have been using it for 3 months. It does an excellent job of cleaning and although not as large as some, still holds much more than our top loader did. Washer is quiet and we have had no vibration problems. It will not hold a large comforter

The Best Value HE Washer
on June 15, 2010
Posted by: Go Patriots
The combination of features, ease of use,
style, quiet operation, and wash results - versus
the price - makes the WM2050 the best value
high efficiency washer out there.
Plus a 10-year warranty on the motor?
Unparalleled.
Unless you're considering another LG model,
buy this washer. The competition doesn't offer
such a complete package in a high efficiency
washer even at $200-$400 more.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: only comes in white

Replacement Washer

Great cleaning performance, Uses very little water and soap. The low amount of water in clothes after wash is finished, decreases the dryer time.

Great MACINE
on June 16, 2010

I have been very pleased with this machine, I can put twice as many clothes into the washer and they come out clean and practically dry. I was worried that the clothes would be twisted together but this has not happend. Because so much water in wrung out of the clothes it only takes half the time to dry them. So not only do I save money by using less water and less detergent, I'm saving money on electricity in drying the clothes.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

Different wash experience
on June 17, 2010

from Somerset, NJ
Have had this washer for 3 months. Totally different wash experience from a top loader. Uses less water and detergent and is very quiet (don't expect to see gallons of sudsy water splashing around like old front loaders of yesteryear). Requires a bit more planning and thought- once you start a load there's no going back (you can but...). Results have been good. As noted by others, spot treatment is advised. Long wash cycles, but less wear on clothes. Many options. Also requires more care (eg- leave door open after wash to dry out and prevent mold/mildew). Follow LG instructions for care/maintenance and have not experienced the mold/mildew problems some do. Controls look complex but are fairly simple. So far, happy with purchase.
Pros: easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

Quiet Machine
on June 17, 2010
Posted by: FbrianXX
from Portland, OR
The machine operates quietly and seems to do a reasonable job of cleaning clothes. My only complaint, and this may be in combination with the dryer, is that my clothes come out much more wrinkled than with my old cheap top loader.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use
Cons: clothes come out wrinkled
