Great washer

Just bought the washer and ran 3 loads with no problems. Had to read the manual to learn all the new features. Overall happy and this better last me 10+years.

I just love my new washer. The front loading makes it so easy. It cleans better than any washer i have used. My whites have never been so white and my clothes smell so good.

This replace another washer I had for years. It is by far the best washer I have ever had. The clothes get cleaner and the machine uses less water and soap. It is extremely easy to use just select the node (eg normal) press start and it tells you how much soap to add. Very impressive. I find my wash time is a little longer than with old washer. My average wash time is about 55 minutes. But life is good.

Cons: longer wash time

I recently purchased both the wm2050cw washer and it's matching dryer dle2050w. I can only say that I am pleasantly suprised by the noise reduction and vibration control of the washer. I really like the stainless drum. My laundry time has been cut in half due to the capacity and efficeincy of these appliances. I felt they were priced right and offered a lot of valued features.

Moldy Smell

I've had the LG washer and dryer combo since January 2010. I love the 1100 rpm since it leaves my clothes almost dry, therefore less electricity used with the dryer. At first I expected the washer to fill with water so we can watch the clothes tumble. However, minimal water is used through the internal jets so there's no mesmerizing splashing for the kids to enjoy. Oh well. No complaint there. So far clothes are coming out clean and we use less detergent since the washer is HE rated. My only complaint is that the compartment does not dry fast enough (even in Arizona) so it creates a moldy smell. Therefore, we have to leave the washer door open after each wash to dry it out. It's a nuisance since we keep hitting the door with our knees when we walk by to the utility room. I didn't have this smell with my top load machine that I had for 10 years before it finally broke down. Sad. If LG was able to figure out the smell, then I'd give this product 100% rating. For now I have to give it 3 star on quality, but 5 for the rest.

I was amazed at how many clothes I could put in the washer at one time. I've found that the washer does a nice job getting the clothes clean, but at this time I'm having difficulty with my whites. Being a new user, I'll have to experiment with perhaps having to wash my whites twice (baseball/softball pants) or soaking them. Overall, at this time, I'm pleased with my new washer and dryer.

Love My LG Washer & Dryer

I have had my new LG Washer and Dryer for 1-1/2 months now, and so far my whole family loves them. Washing clothes is so much easier now. The washer uses a lot less water and still gets your clothes super clean. The dryer drys your clothes in a very short time compared to my older model. My son and I just watch the washer washing clothes like its a tv or something. My husband received a call from my brother one day and he wanted to know what I was doing and he said she downstairs watching the washer. I highly recommend this washer and dryer.

I purchased this washer and it's companion dryer as replacements for 15 year old units. I am very pleased with my new washer and dryer. They are large capacity, very quite, and easy to use.
