I LOVE IT!!

This is my very first brand new washer and I love it! My old one finally went out and my kids wanted to buy me a new one. Well, I had a plain old cheap washer picked out from a store. I didn't want them spending alot of money on me. Well, my son saw a picture of it online and said, "No, No!"
He got to looking and said that this is the one I was getting. I was so suprised. I didn't even go to the front loading washers cause I thought they were way to expensive. But, this one is very affordable. It's so quiet and plays music when it's finished instead of that annoying loud buzzer. It's washs my clothes alot cleaner than my old washer did too. The setting buttons are very simple. And It uses so little water. I've never seen such a thing. Ha! I just love everything about my new LG washer. Thank you so much!

I found the washer suprizingly simple,quiet,and used little water I sat and watched the first load and couldn't get over the little amount of water and it CLEANED !! the dryer was quiet and efficient and the lint trap works great these appliences are in our computer room so far no lint in the room like our old dryer did

This washer is undoubtedly one of the best, if not THE best, investments I have ever made. It is easy to use, quiet, efficient, and has decreased the wash time per load by 25%! The laundry has never been cleaner, and I was a life-long top load person before this purchase! Thanks for putting out an excellent product that is so user friendly -- I particularly like the little tune that is played when the washer is done.

Nicest washer I have ever owned. Wash clothes great as expected and spins them out almost dry. I like the option to add extra water for those few times I am running a very large or bulky load. These new machines are amazing. Nothing like the old top load washers and about 4 times heavier too. Be prepared to have help moving if you do it yourself.

A fine washer

A great replacment for our old top-loader. We were warned that washing times were longer, but with the high speed spin, the clothes come out dryer, so drying time is much less. Overall much more efficient (in terms of *my* time, which is as important as the water, energy, etc., efficiency they claim).
I wish I could program "SpinSense" into the "Custom Program". Once I've told it it's onj a wood floor, it should remember that.
After all the warnings in the manual about residual dampness in the washer, I'm surprised there isn't a way to prop the door open just a bit so that it's not in the way, but the drum dries out. Similarly, there seems to be a lot of water left in the detergent drawer, and the latch for removing that to dry it seems fragile.

Cons: can't add "spinsense" to "custom program"

Best Thing We Ever Bought

I know it sounds completely insane, but my husband and I are in love with this washing machine. We have an extremely high water rate where we live and in one month, with the same amount of clothes washed, our water bill dropped $25.00 in one month. The first week we got it, we would sit and watch it wash. I thought using so little water couldn't possibly get the clothes clean, but it does and they smell great.
I can't wait to see how much our power bill drops from the matching dryer that runs about 16 hours less per month. I actually enjoy and look forward to doing the laundry.

New Washing Machine

Have had the 2050CW washer for 2 weeks now. It is such a classy machine! I enjoy using it and have found it pretty easy to use. My "gripe" with it is the spin cycle is noisier than my previous 10 year old machine and I was told how much quieter this was. I hear the vibration downstairs now! However, when it spins the clothes, they really do come out drier and you don't have to use the dryer as long. LOVE the pedestals, too.
