Bought the washer based on the Energy Star rating and low water consumption. Read a few complaints but I don't expect the washer to scrub the floors and do the dishes.
The door is left ajar daily, the correct amount of soap is used and the instructions are followed. I do not expect any issues.
My favorite part is the washer sings when it is done. Perhaps all the new washers are like that.
Pros: easy to use, Performance

My wife and I bought this washer along with the matching dryer a couple of months ago and we love them. They are extremely quiet and easy to use. We have 3 kids, so we do a lot of laundry and these machines hold a lot of clothes.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

I did alot of research on front load machines and found that LG was the best with features, price and warranty. I really wanted this machine for myself...but now it seems my husband is doing the ALL the laundry, he absolutely loves using it!! The machine is SOOO quiet and gets the clothes cleaner than our top loader ever did. I would recommend this machine to anyone who is looking for a front load washer!

I just dumped 20 yr old washer & dryer and love my new LG washer dryer set. Easy, quiet, beautiful, works great and now I can wash King size comforter . . . I'm in Heaven.

Bought first week in March. all online reviews were extremely positive. set up was easy, quick start guide was clear and mother was washing the first test load within the hour. I love the water saver feature! the machine is also remarkable quiet. we can still enjoy tv in the family room without turning up the volume to theater level with the machine doing its thing. the old dryer is now the loudest machine in the house.

We went for a front loader because of the HE ratings. This machine leaves the clothes drier and less wrinkled than we thought possible. It works like a charm and we are very happy with it's performance and quietness.

Real energy saver. Only con is the noisy tub.

Cons: tub hit against door violently when spin.
