GREAT PURCHASE

This is my first front loading washing machine, and I felt that the clothes wouldn't wash well because it used a small amount of water. I was wrong. The clothes came out very clean and slightly damp- which my LG dryer did quick work of it. I highly recommend this washer. I also purchased the matching dryer and the stacking kit.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

Dont waste your money!

Worst washing machine I've ever owned. Constantly having to clean gunk out of the rubber seal. Clothes come out of the washer smelly every time. When using the large cycle your clothes will be too wet to put straight into the dryer therefore I've had to run my clothes through the normal cycle to get the excess water out. Therefore this process defeats the purpose of using less water because I'm having to run my clothes through two loads. I've owned this washer for two years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To be able to watch the diverse actions of the different cycles built into this machine is truly amazing. Compared to the programing on today's TV, this is much more entertaining

We used some of the 8000 dollars first home buyers credit to buy this washer. One of the best products by LG. Quiet, energy efficient, oh did I say very energy efficient.

Our old (27 years old!) dryer made its last complete cycle a few days ago and so we purchased a new one and its mate the WM2050CW. This washer is has every cleaning option one could ever want or need and it does its job so quietly you hardly know it is there let alone washing your cloths so well! If it knew how to give a good massage all my prayers would be answered!

Cons: no foot massage option

We were thinking of going the old school route for our first washer and dryer since we had used other friends front load units. They took so long and we felt they did not clean as well. After some research we went with the LG2050 washer and dryer. We could not be happier. They are awsome!!!! We can not find any complaints about them. We use so little detergent now I love them!!

Worst Purchase EVER

Do not buy if the unit is for the second floor! Our laundry room is on the second floor and the ENTIRE house shakes during the spin cycle! So much for the anti-vibration system...I have had a service tech at my house a hand full of times for this issue only to have it unresolved-his thoughts: front loaders should be placed on concrete to avoid it being unstable...funny the sales person NEVER mentioned that. I also had to reinforce all the lighting fixtures, doors & cabinets on the main floor since the washer has shaken them all loose! Terrible choice in washer!
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
