My original humidifer used this filter so I bought new humidifers that used the same filter, to avoid keeping different filters in stock. My only complaint is the black mesh matrix on the outside comes apart fairly easily and also Holmes does not give a means of cleaning them to extend their life.

I buy these filters all the time for my 3 humidifers, they last for at least 2 months and we use them every night, all year round. I would recommend them to anyone. For the quality and price they can't be beat.
