[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never liked the HP practice of putting an expiration date (relating to service life) on their ink & printhead products (including XL's) instead of just allowing their products to continue to function as designed regardless of age, but function until they actually run out of ink, or failure. Printer Products are reasonably priced, but consumable components or refills are inappropriately over-priced by volume.
Installation of these two new printheads has caused the printer to constantly FAIL Alignment and keeps attempting to print an alignment page using up ink.
New printheads did NOT solve my alignment problem!

I had hoped to solve my printer alignment problem -- purchased 2 new print heads and made sure that I have all of the colours useable. Sad to say, I still cannot get the printer aligned - but it does print very well - I just have a waste piece of paper with a few bars of colour printed and need to cancel to attempt to align the system .... At least I can print again, but I am wasting a LOT of paper & ink :(
